Resource Institute for Community and Human Development Agency (RECADA) is a local NGO registered by the government of Kenya in 2003. The main purpose of RECADA is to facilitate and empower communities for holistic human development. RECADA collaborates with churches, other NGOs, institution of learning and individuals in promoting and supporting sociocultural, economic, and human development among communities and vulnerable groups, and institutions through a multi-sectoral and integrated approach for sustainable livelihood.
The NGO is currently running several projects in different parts of Kenya both in rural and urban areas; including, primary schools, entrepreneurship programs, skills trainings, general agriculture and horticultural faming and water project for the elderly. The organization’s current head office is in Nairobi.
