Loise Akoth Abanga is a dedicated Social Worker with extensive years of experience in child development and protection and community work. Growing up in the Mathare slum of Nairobi, she has witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by marginalized communities. This background fuels her belief that, with the right support and resources, communities can effectively drive their development for sustainability. Loise holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development from St. Paul’s University, where she gained knowledge in social change and community engagement. With over 10 years of experience in grassroots initiatives, Loise has passionately worked towards several Sustainable Development Goals, including quality education, good health and well-being, and zero hunger. She has led impactful projects that promote education, enhance health outcomes, and combat hunger, showcasing her dedication to promoting sustainable change.
